IT experience …

Today one of my colleague was saying that, when our experience is increasing and our responsibility also getting increased and the job is really getting tougher and tougher every day. Is it so?

I am accepting that the responsibility is increasing every day but does the job is getting tougher every day or it’s just our mentality of thinking that the work is getting tougher?

Why do I have a doubt like this?

When I joined as a fresher whatever I learn in my office was very new to me and i always had the feeling that I am learning lot and I was very keen of learn new things. Now after four years still in the same technology and doing the same thing using some new version of it and also trying to do it little bit faster. Since I am in development it’s always be like this and I am feeling that whether i have lost the interest of learning or I don’t have much time to do.

So is this the reason that we are thinking that the job getting tougher every day?

But people are telling that it’s getting tougher and it will get tougher if your experience ticks every day … what do you say? :)

Salary…

I never felt that the salary is good enough in my three years of corporate experience. I hope it will never happen and it’s the same for most of the people. When I was getting my first month salary I was thinking that 20 % more would be sufficient. But when I was getting that 20 % more I was expecting 30 % more than what I was getting… Its goes like this and I am thinking does any one is really felt that their salary is good enough? This is the only reason which is hitting my mind to think of starting my own business. Obviously I don’t have answer for most of the questions like which business, when to start and where to start…. I will be really happy if read the block after 5 to 10 year down the line with my dream achieved. Let’s wait and see what happens…

IT industry

IT industry is like Indian share market. We really don’t know when it will be in boom or when it will go down. Now it’s downfall for it in India. Yes few months ago in US most people have lost their jobs. The statistics tells that every month there were 80K employees have lost their job till May. Now it started in India, Last Friday there were 200 people who lost their job in our company. People are telling it will get stable only at the end of 2009. Let’s hope to get stable soon.

How much easier it is to be critical than to be correct.
